Best Local/Grassroots/Community charity to donate clothes to?

Doing spring cleaning and have lots of clothes to donate; curious if anyone has strong opinions on the best / most trustworthy / most reliable charities to donate clothes to in NYC, and where to find them / how to utilize them. Thanks!!
