BL-22 firing pin
Hi all, i have fallen victim to one of the classic blunders. I bought a second hand BL-22 then put stock spacers and and a skinner sight on it, ie now im attached to it. Found at st marys the other week that out of the 8 odd rounds i had in the tube, 3 rounds failed to fire so i suppose im looking at a new firing pin and i dont fancy my fine motor skills or patience enough to do it myself. Does anyone know how much it would cost me to get a smith to do this? Reccomendations on a good value for money gun smith near sydney? Ta

I've had a BL-22 firing pin (it's more a plate) split right down the middle. Check Brownells or whoever imports Browning's now and see if you can buy a replacement. They are not hard to change.

I watched a video of a bloke removing the action from the reciever, looks pretty tricky getting it back in! It'll teach me to let novices touch it with the invariable dry fires that result.
