Amp question -BQThrust 500 and cab

Hey bassit,

II may be overthinking this, I currently play an acoustic b450, it's big but not huge, and I'm looking for something to bring to practice instead. Now that the TC bq500 is back in stock, I was thinking about a small head and cab for ease of transport. I initially thought about a 210, but since the 450 will support an extension (and allegedly produce more watts) , I was thinking about a 112, then I could use it as a standalone cab or extension. Fwiw, I'm playing early reggae and Rocksteady, and some soul.

Am I overthinking this?

Tbh I just use a 100watt combo amp at practice. I have a 4x10 cab set up for live but the combo stands up to both guitar players playing 4x12s. Of course they’re turned down a bit, but like don’t have to haul any head around. I leave it there half the time. Plug it in and go. I’d try to find something like that cheap on marketplace. But it’s totally up to you
