And because the space bar was inexplicably loud, I had to borrow a red one from my other cap set lying around. To save my eyesight I didn’t change them all to red.
You will also enjoy my lack of proper right shift, fn, alt, or control keys, as well as the wrong page up key profile. But boy does it feel solid to type on.
How are the Silent Greys in terms of tactility - similar to Boba u4s with tactility starting at the top or there is some travel before the tactility starts, like MX Clears for instance?
I’m usually a clicky guy (but it won’t fly in an office) so my experience is with box whites. I have not used U4s so I can’t comment there. These really don’t feel like there’s much travel at the top at all and the bump is pretty soft but still there. The travel distance isn’t super long overall either, but I think that’s a feature of the silent switches.
/u/WaywardWes this is a friendly reminder about rule #2, Share Your Specs. If you are posting a build(s), please provide as many specs as possible; i.e. keycaps, switches, keyboard, modifications, etc. Thank you.
