Seestern S456 is worth the plunge.
I just received the s456 and overall the fit and finish is very nice. It's not a perfect 10, but and easy 9.5. The dial is one of those that are active and need to be seen in person or a better video than I can provide. But it's just stunning with the blue in the bezel and chapter ring working well together. The indices are crisp, at least to my eyes, but the overall watch is nice on the wrist. I took 3 links out and have it on the narrowest hole. It fits how I like Seiko's, a bit on the loose side. 42mm and fits great because of how the case and female end link bracelet work together. And yes, it is a cut our date window and is not boarded or beveled.
The niggles are some with the bezel. But the lume is lacking and it should have been bi-directional GMT style. Not huge niggles though at the $190 I paid for it. The dial is stunning in the light and it fits overall pretty well, but I do wish it had a larger glide clasp like me SQ I got from them.
Worth it for sure.

Looks really nice. May I inquire about your wrist size? I'm worried this one might look too big on my wrist. Thanks.

I'll be posting images of this on a 7" in a few days. I ordered mine later in the 11.11 sale and don't have it just yet.
Also note that this is substantially smaller than the GS it's copying.
