Seeking ideas for a puzzle themed christmas party game

So a few years ago my family started what has now become a tradition where we play a game to win presents and whoever wins the most presents will make the game the next year. First year was very simple and luck based. the gifts are numbered 1-20, You would roll a d20 and win that prize if it was still available. Next year was jepordy but the questions were all related to my brothers life. Last year was beer pong. I won the beer pong last year so it's my turn to come up with a game this year. I want to make it some sort of puzzle/riddle/brain teaser that requires some level of thought but something that isn't too challenging so grandma can still participate without getting frustrated. As you can imagine it is very hard to come up with 20 original puzzles/riddles. I read a lot of stoic philosophy and I kind of wanted to make some sort of brain teaser related to stoic principles but I am stuggling to come up with anything. If you have any suggestions at all please let me know! I would love to hear what you guys can come up with. Thanks!

You'll get a lot of great puzzle riddle ideas but I recommend not limiting it just to puzzles and riddles. There are so many great fun activities that can be super fun.

One thing you could do is a "Find the macguffin"

You can have something hidden in the house. new place each time. And then the entire goal is to find it. However, every time it's a different mechanic.

Some simple ideas:

- Photos. Different photos of the location thatare heavily doctored.

- Word search - make a custom word search where the answer is the location

- location triangulation. Give them 3-5 locations and they must find the spot between them

Hope this is a good start!

I would recommend some game/task that is skill based, but nobody has ever tried before. Just whoever has the most natural talent at whatever low stakes thing you can think of. Maybe something like geoguessr?

To be brutally honest, stoicism is a really odd choice for a Christmas party game. If you want something that will be fun but will make everyone have to think, why not just go with Christmas trivia? There are endless possibilities. Christmas carols: you give the opening lines, they name the song (easy) or ending lines (harder) or rarely sung lyrics (hard) for instance the actual opening lines of white Christmas are the singer writing a letter from Beverly Hills. You could do legends and myths : what are cows said to be able to do at midnight Christmas Eve? Talk. If the party is at your house, you could hide things and have a sheet of clues for a scavenger hunt.
