f1-2019-telemetry Python package

Hi all,

I implemented a Python 3 package for processing live telemetry data as sent during race sessions by the F1 2019 game.

Apart from functionality to process packets, three command line tools are included:

  • f1-2019-telemetry-recorder records full telemetry data from the network to a disk file;
  • f1-2019-telemetry-player plays telemetry data from a disk file to the network;
  • f1-2019-telemetry-monitor shows live data (currently, quite limited).

In a few weeks time, I hope to add a nice GUI version of the monitor program that can be used e.g. to show live race data on a second screen while playing.

You can install the package using pip like this:

pip install f1-telemetry-data

Documentation is available here:

The package is hosted on Gitlab:

I hope this is interesting or useful for some of you.
