External keyboards matching my laptops layout

2 points · submitted May 2024 by u/Minecraftian14 · Question

I have an HP Omen 16 laptop.
I am a computer programmer.
I belive that getting accustomed to a keyboard layout is important,
and also that changing layouts can cause loss in typing speed and mis-presses.

I want to know if there exists externally attachable keyboards for purchase, which have the same type/size of keys and the same layout/spacing/arrangement as to my laptop.

So far no hope with getting a similar layout keybord.
For now I've been using the same external keyboard on both laptops and take it with myself in my bag to home/office.
