Key assignments to mouse not working after G Hub update

I updated G Hub earlier today and PgUp/PgDown bound to the side keys on my mouse (G4/G5) no longer work.

I tried PgUp/PgDown, Up/Down, Discord toggle mute and [. Up/Down and PgUp/PgDown don't work, Discord and bracket worked. Tested in Firefox, Brave and SublimeText.

Any tips on fixing this? Having PgUp/Down bound do side keys is amazing for browsing/reading, and I got really used to it.

Hi u/Gendalph,

Thank you for reaching out. Could you please let us know the OS version and the device name to check and assist you further? Try to reassign the keys and check if that worked.

bumping this, did you fix this by any chance? it only happens to me in a specific game, the others are fine

Gendalph [OP]

Nope. Not yet at least.

i asked a friend and he managed to bypass the problem by assigning the desired keys to the desktop settings. it doesn't solve it, of course. but atleast it's playable until a fix.

basically, g hub doesn't recognize r6. it's probably because of the new anticheat.

you use a g pro, perhaps?

Gendalph [OP]

I have G502 Hero, and the apps I use these binds for don't have anticheat (unless Discord, Firefox, Brave, Telegram and SublimeText all got anticheat overnight :D). And yes, they are assigned to Desktop default profile.

Doesn't seem like permission issue, if it was then I wouldn't be able to type [ in Twitch chat with G5 button. I did some more advanced troubleshooting earlier today and found nothing. Submitted a bug report, let's see if that helps.

Weirdly enough, Space works and does the same thing in the browser, so I'm ok with that... For now.

alright, thanks for the info. think i will do a bug report too
