I know it cant be done in Vault Breaker mode, but what am i even looking for in the pvp version. Does it just look like a stronghold box, is in one of those tier 3 loot rooms? Is there an icon on the map?
Never done the contract before so a general idea and any additional details so i can start doing the contract weekly will be appreciated.

lvl 3 or 4 scan will show it on map. Its labelled as "hidden treasure" on the map
I think one spawns under control, when you’re going to fill up coolants, in the two small tunnels there is a space where they both connect, one can spawn there

Definitely not this.
It will be shaped like a high tier box (I think like the outpost command one). Has a variety of spawns, some will get pinged by the scanners (with a tag like “a hidden cache…”), others can spawn in the vents in control (on the bottom floor if you are running up from the center ice spot), or in connectors from the second spawn sections.
Hard to explain and my namings may be off, but should be guides online and if you have a thief they can spot them easy
