Los Angeles based NWSL fans: Let's watch tomorrow's USWNT game together at Rick's Tavern on Main (Santa Monica). First beer is on me.

During the olympics, a bunch of us talked about watching a game together, but the timing made it all incredibly difficult. The game tomorrow (Thursday) is at 4:30 PM PST, which is more than reasonable. Leave work early, and let's meet IRL (if you're vaccinated).

I'll be at Rick's Tavern on Main tomorrow, wearing a Tobin Heath jersey (current kit). Come be my friend! Your first beer is on me.

Edit: Jews, I recognize tomorrow is Yom Kippur, making this deeply inconvenient for those observing. Gmar tov. Wishing you a meaningful day and easy fast. I’ll do the same thing on Tuesday, so we can meet IRL then.

I'm so glad LA is getting an NWSL team. The 3252 are class, and the atmosphere in at LAFC games seems amazing. No doubt you'll end up with a Thorn I love in the expansion draft and I will feel bitter for a bit, but I am also looking forward to my first away day there.
