Since I'm moving my franchise over to OOTP 27, figured I'd post the one player that actually developed any ratings above 50 on the 20-80 scale for me in OOTP 26.

Before I brought my save over to 27, my Athletics farm system was ranked 9th overall. No superstars, but a ton of depth, with 6 players in the top 100. After I brought it over, the next rankings list had me 29th, with only 2 players listed.
I was worried the random waive players bug had hit me, but nope - everyone was still in the system. Now I'm on the process of rescouting everyone. And maybe these new ratings are more realistic? Guess time will tell...
Do not move to 27 at this time. There are 326 bug posts in the tech support forum at the OOTP board plus more in the general discussion forum.
I’m in 2034 of my first play through of 27… I think I’ve had 2 pitchers develop and have had to just trade for bats… literally haven’t gotten one batter to develop. Very frustrating

Yea! Been playing since OOTP 15 so feel like I’ve got a good idea of the tweaks I can make to get a better hit rate but man! It seems like it’s league wide… ie maybe 90% of the original top 100 didn’t pan out so wondering if it’s this version. Or maybe just this save! Just an observation. Wanted to see if anyone else is seeing the same in 27

I had a similar experience, only to find out in 2030 that my owner’s been slashing my dev budget opening day every year

One of those things where I think I was projected to be in the red but the extra money from the playoff run would've had me in the black even without the cheap bastard sneakily cutting the Dev Budget :P
Something like I was projected to be 2 million in the red, owner slashed 20 million from the Dev Budget to get me to league baseline, and after the playoffs were over I was 25 million in the black

In my experience with OOTP 26, I find that prospect development takes a significant hit when the player dev budget is lower than ~$25 million
