Breast implant exchange (30 year old ones!) -- advice and recovery/pain?

I have 30 (yes 30) year old implants. They work fine honestly, breastfed two kids with them and they still look pretty decent. But I know they have a shelf life and I think I am past it. I talked to a surgeon who is highly regarded and I really like and he was like, yes at some point they are going to break, so I think I am going for it.

He makes it sound pretty cut and dry, recovery is 2 weeks, etc. and that it shouldn't be too too painful. I am nervous. Has anyone gone through this?

Did you get mammograms with them? i have been doing ultrasounds 2x a year to avoid the compression but might go ahead with the mammo pre- surgery. Not positive though.

I've had my 20 year implants removed and replaced. If your implants are not leaking, then the surgery is really easy. The pocket is already made inside your body, so it is easy. Recovery is a lot easier than the initial surgery.
