I bought this.

Then realized I overlooked and saw it was a 14.7" pencil barrel. I bought a OCL Gordon collar and saw it specifically says 14.5" GOV barrel only.

Do I just need to re-barrel this one with the correct size barrel for it to work? & Everything else cash be reused?

Is there a different Gordon Collar that will work with this pencil 14.7" barrel? Not going for full clone correct obviously. Just the ascetic. I have the H&R Grey COTS lower to pair with it.

You could do a non-suppressed BHD gun. Plenty of pics of them.

You could work with this barrel by sending it off to someone who knows OPS/Allen/OCL reflex setups.

Allen offers an undersized Gordon collar for the .625 sized FSB barrels. A competent smith opens it up to fit. They also would have to chop the extra .200 length of thread and shave down the barrel thread shoulder and then extend the thread so the collar will fit over the barrel. Again, do able but is it worth all of the cost and hassle? That's up to you. I'm assuming you intend to use the actual M4 can? You could entertain the idea of a 12.5 and an AEM5 or OCM6 if you don't have a can yet?

Swapping to a m4 profiled 14.5 barrel would probably be the quickest and easiest route if you want a turn key solution.

Awesome, the latter sounds like a much more doable option. I imagine d.Wilson would be able to do the first part you mentioned?

Swapping to a 14.5" GOVT Barrel I would need to find the matching FSB correct?

D.wilson, Adco, or Jon Thomas are 3 I'd say are your best bets to contact about doing the work.

Personally, I'd snag a 14.5 Colt barrel assembly from Throughbred, swap the barrels and call it a day. You may be able to sell or trade the 14.7 psa barrel assembly to off set the cost some.

B. King’s Firearms offers one of their own 14.5 gov. barrels with a fitted AE collar on their website. Thoroughbred Armament sells them as uppers using Capco barrels.

I rebarreled my H&R 14.7 with a Colt 14.5 Govt profile so I could suppress it with a AE M4D can. I got the complete barrel with AE collar from Thoroughbred Armament

I noticed they have some but most seem to be sold out. It also appears a lot of people bought from ballistic advantage but they are also sold out.
