I have been endlessly searching for the oval plates/platters. Has anyone had any luck, if so, where?? I am in Texas, and I use spaghetti bowls, but its just not the same. Kthxbye

These ovals are actually pretty standard restaurant fare. Find a restaurant supply store like Restaurant Depot to buy some oval serving platters.
A quick Google search for options in TX reveals a chain of stores called AceMart, a website called Texasrestaurantsupply.com, and of course there's always Amazon.
If you want I can just go get a couple from the nearest skyline and give them to you?

Do they sell them there? My parents are heading back in a week, I could see if they could just do that! Thank you for the offer, that's awesome of you :)

I just called my local skyline and they said maybe but like I’m assuming probably. Just call ahead and they seem willing. Worst case scenario swallow the plates and then regurgitate them at a later period.
