No Cruise Ability!
I am a bit stuck! I have beaten Robot Patrick, and gone into the next section of bikini bottom. When I go to talk to Bubble Buddy for the Cruise Bubble Ability, he doesn't give it to me. Does anyone know what i can do to get it without having g to restart gameplay?

I recall that the game kind of innately gives it to you as soon as you defeat Patrick, with no prompts, tutorial, and very few signs.
Based off watching speedruns I would say that as soon as you touch a new area in the Bikini Bottom hub the game lets you use that ability for the rest of the playthrough (which when defeating a boss it teleports you in that area anyway), so just press buttons until you found that ability. Looking at the signs in the areas that were unlocked with said ability usually have a little area that you can practice in (i.e. the second "hub" area has a bowling puzzle, and the third area has a target practice section above most of the area).
If that doesn't work try saving and restarting the game. It should click right in for you.
