Should’ve been 3-4 seasons

Season 1- Keep as is

Season 2- Keep as is

Season 3- This is where things could’ve/should’ve changed and Kripke seemed to be more focused on making Homelander a Trump copycat. Homelander begins to garner a lot more power at a rapid pace. He goes into the bad room and kills all the scientists just like in season 4 (and honestly, it’s because I love that episode so much they need to keep it in) and he actually does let everything loose. Everything else about the series stays the same except he kills Soldier Boy and MM or Frenchie, forgoes his humanity, and takes over the White House at the end of the series and the boys are left licking their wounds. I really wish they could’ve left in more episodes about the boys hunting different supes like the comics so implement some of that and make the season 12 episodes to compensate.

Season 4- This season The Boys are dead set and laser focused on killing Homelander and helping train up Ryan to take on other supes and become a warrior. Butcher is suffering the side effects of the Temp V and is trying to do the deed before he dies, the stakes are higher, they are constantly hunted by every Supe and they manage to kill every one of them, the virus is developed and butcher overdoses on what’s left of the temp v and battles Homelander while the other members of the boys fight and kill the rest of the 7 at the cost of the other Boys members aside from Hughie and Annie and Ryan. Homelander is injected with the virus but as a natural born supe it just makes him mortal and Butcher dies of the temp v overdose while laughing at Homelander. Ryan is taken by Mallory to be groomed as a future leader but lives an actual childhood with Annie and Hughie adopting him and terror. Homelander gets the Stan Edgar treatment from the comics and becomes an insane vagrant that nobody recognizes.

Just my opinion over the direction this series could’ve taken if Kripke didn’t tank its quality over the need for dick, fart, shit and other forms of crude entertainment he felt the need to take it in. Hopefully the last 2 episodes are bangers.
