Any advice and help?

I’m pretty new to TiviMate, I’ve not used it prior. But every day the app seems to crash on the fire stick and more often than not, I get various error messages popping up.

The stream will freeze and start circling and then the app crashes, does it daily.

Any advice on how to manage this?

Thanks

What firestick is it and how much free space is on it. You need at least 1gb spare storage. Delete any apps you don't use and clear the cache out of the rest to start with.

It’s a third generation firestick, I’ve about 1.44GB storage left on it, I’ve deleted various other apps

Where did you download Tivimate? You need downloader code 272483 for the proper one.

I was given a code on downloader of 8510030

2OldDontCare

That's wrong. If you were given a URL with your service download 272483. If not, ask your provider for a URL as their app is not working

Do you suggest I download it with the code 272483?

If you only have a username and password but no URL you won't be able to use the proper one. You may just be set up for that app through your Mac address as well

The size difference between the two versions is quite stark.

The Downloader code you were given is a 58.19 MB APK while the official Tivimate APK is only 21.12 MB APK

That might be the issue. I don’t have a URL number for a playlist set up

Your provider should give you either a M3U playlist or Xtream URL with username & password.

I have seen sticks with more free space even have issues downloading EPGs & VOD playlists.

I am running on a Firestick 4K Max 2nd gen & have not encountered any of the issues you're experiencing.

I’ve had the fire stick a while, but other than YouTube it’s all I use it for.

Just didn’t know if there was anything that could help it.

Get rid of the firestick and buy a decent device

There's nothing wrong with a Firestick.

GiantCat88

Which firestick? Is it the official program or a modded copy? I've never had that problem with TiviMate.

It’s a third generation fire stick.

I just checked and I have the same one and dont experience that. Could be a space issue like someone else suggested or there is something in the background taking up resources.

What model ? I am not aware of any sticks in 3rd gen. FireCube has a 3rd gen.

I always recommended that my clients“ clear Apps Caches” on a monthly basis. In the firestick settings goto Applications…. Clear Apps Caches…. Confirm
This will free up memory for use by Tivimate and other apps as well

Try Clear App Cache
