Casio GT2000 2263 from late 90s. Cleaning and repair. This is the start. Using it to see if I want to work on a mechanical watch.
Well worn 5+ years daily, never really opened, one battery change, just hosed off. I worked some pretty icky jobs. Sat the last 15 years in a random bin.
Pulled apart, scrubbed, soaked (case), rinsed the case. We will see how it goes.
Replaced the battery. Fired right up.
I'll need to clean the back (glued piezo, so no soaking), polish the face, put together, and see if the band is salvageable. I'll degrease the pushers, gasket, and should be wearable again.
