PrintError

HevosenPaskanSyojae

Cool design!

bananapearapple

Woah, that design is quite a 90's throwback!

Having said that, I see you have a Scott Speedster. Do you have the '11 or '12 S30 in the default colour scheme? If so than your bike and kit match up nicely :).

stalde [OP]

It's an 2012 S30 with the black/white/blue color scheme. I find the kit attractive to the eye though and I really like the nations colors. This kit was also worn at the Olympic Games 2012.

jschooltiger

Very pretty.

FajitaJoe

Say hello to Rein for me!

stalde [OP]

Is this a dream or Americans actually do know about Estonia and Rein Taaramäe?

FajitaJoe

Certainly. He's a very promising young rider. I worked with a guy who was born in Estonia and keeps up with the Estonian community in the US. He wasn't big into cycling at all, but he knew of Rein and we talked about him during the tour often. Cycling is one sport which the Americans don't dominate. It's nice to get exposure to things beyond our little corner of the world for a change.

George1231

Confused whether this comment about the US dominating sport is serious.

FajitaJoe

I was being serious. "Our" last 8 Tour de France wins have been revoked as cheats. This year and last year a Brit won. The year before, an Aussie. Sure there are other races, but the Tour is the pinnacle each year.

George1231

Ah sorry, I was referring to sports putside of cycling. The US are a good all round sporting nation but I would never describe them as the dominant country in world sport.

White_Lobster

Yep, and Jan Kirsipuu. But that's about it.

stalde [OP]

What about Tanel Kangert? He had a strong performance at Giro.

EpoxyD

I forget he was Estonian as well! The guy knows how to ride against the clock, that's for sure!

Schmoopykins

The only Estonians I know are Clement "Puppey" Ivanov and Arvo Pärt. The only thing I know about Estonia is that they can't into nordic

Spartannia

Arvo Pärt

Love his music.

Päris hea, peaks ütlema! Jõudu teile.

stalde [OP]

Ohh, eestlane ka siia sattunud! Hea näha kohe.

I'll be visiting Tallinn this next week. No cycling, unfortunately, but excited none the less. Sweet kit.

Tim_Buk2

I was cycling in Estonia just last week.

(Only the bike path that runs from Nomme to Glenhi Loss).

And I left my two spare tyres outside Ruutli 13 near Vabaduse square; maybe they are still there?

This was on Monday 12th lunchtime, by the kerb between the antique shop and the iron gate at Ruutli 13.

It was a new Vittoria Randonneur Cross Pro Folding City Tyre (Black/Black 700 x 35c) with a used Vittoria 26 inch mtb fitted inside.

I doubt they are still there but you never know !

If you do by some miracle find them please post back and give them to someone who would benefit from them. I am back in the Netherlands now (land of bicycles and free delivery from wiggle.co.uk)

stalde [OP]

I'm gonna go see if I can find your tyres tomorrow.
