For over a decade we've kept the cast iron pans in the stove, which is fine until it's time to use it. It became especially irritating as the collection grew. A couple years ago I had the idea for this cart to fit the weird space between the appliance and the countertop -- I've seen some wider stoves in vintage homes so that must be what was here originally. I started the process in March and finally got it finished this weekend. Eventually I will stain the front and there will be a hinged butcher block counter on top, more or less matching what is there to the left.
