Issues with RCA to HDMI converter

I got a converter yesterday from our local game store and when we plug it in it does this.

I already tried a new RCA cable because the original one we had was kinda crappy and I thought that might be the issue. The converter is a TTX Tech hdmi to av converter.

(Also sorry if this posts twice, originally went to make this post then hit post prematurely, I'll delete the first once it uploads)

Solved it myself, for anyone from the future who encounters this problem I just had to go into the bluray player settings and downgrade the resolution. I specifically changed it to 4:3 aspect ratio and lowered the resolution to 480i.

Also don't forget to check your cords, I tested it with our wiiU and the hdmi I use for the wiiU to make sure it was an issue with the player and not the box.
