We’re not lucky we’re blessed. I messed the time but it was 6:00 and daylight when the neighbors were letting fireworks off and he got so scared he ran off and kept letting fireworks off even when they knew about him missing but they said they would keep an eye out for him but as mad as we were we didn’t care about that at all when he came home
So glad he’s home. ❤️ I read an article that the 4th is a day that a lot of dogs bolt out the door. They get nervous with the occasional firework’s boom they hear during the day before the main displays start at night.

I JUST experienced a series of emotions, as if my Mazi went missing!! That’s DEVASTATING!! You must be so relieved!! I’m definitely relieved with you!! I worried over the holiday, as Mazi is terrified of fireworks. She only became sensitive in the last 2 years! I tightened her harness, and had purchased a Fi mini, which she is still wearing, in case she slips out of her harness. I couldn’t stand not knowing!! I am SO RELIEVED for your family!! They are lost without their people, and their people are lost without them!!! Thank goodness he’s safe!!!😮💨🥹💓💓💓💓💓💓 Sending hugs!!

Aww! BLESS little Carmel! Thank God he made it home okay! . Please make sure he doesn’t ever get out again!! I watch my two little doggies like a hawk—I’ve had them a couple years and, thank God, they haven’t gotten out yet!! 🙏🏻♥️
Most of the time they come back home! One of our dogs ran off, I was told just sit with the door open and wait. So while everyone was out looking I was sitting at the door with my dog waiting. He came walking in through the front door to get some water!

We’re glad too. It was at 4:30 AM when he showed up and we were expecting to keep looking for him in the morning. Had a bunch of people looking for him so my mom posted it on Facebook when he came home

He really is! We were pretty mad at the neighbors who live in the neighborhood over from ours because even after they knew he was missing and went out to go to the bathroom when they were letting fireworks off. My mom went over and told them about the situation and they acted all sympathetic and they immediately let more off when she came back 🤦♀️ but now it’s more like yeah it was frustrating but we should be glad he’s ok and home

My goodness this is so sad. To open yourself up to your neighbors, about an important issue for you, and see lack of neighborhood support. The good thing is he is back, the bad thing is, your neighbors didn’t watch Mr. Rogers neighborhood.
