Guess i should've learned not to trust after hating the other DLCs (or rather not getting through the first of the three).
Was hoping at least one DLC would be more main-game-like.
That's 20 bucks down the drain.

rule #1: never pre-order. the bonuses are almost never worth it. (i realize this isn’t as applicable to your post, but it’s a good rule to follow nonetheless)
rule #2: if there’s an upcoming game you’re excited about, pay attention to pre-release reviews but dont take them as gospel.
rule #3: dont buy immediately on release either. pay attention to what players are saying, and once you feel you have a pretty good idea of what the game is like, only then should you make a decision.
these are 3 rules i made for myself after the disappointing launch of Cyberpunk 2077. obviously these are just for me, im not trying to tell anyone what to do, just suggesting.
i’m currently on rule #3. browsing this sub looking for opinions on the new dlc. im glad i haven’t decided to buy yet. not looking good 😕

My only problem with it was that it's a rogue-lite. (Rogue-like? Where's the line between them?)
I don't like rogue-lites.
I didn't really get far enough to have an opinion beyond that.
I was hoping the DLC was gonna be something like the Mars one for FC5, but nope.
I've mainly been going by opinion on the last product, but i guess i should've followed that for DLCs, not just main games.

my opinion is all the FC6 DLCs are ok as far as rogue-likes go, but did anyone even want that? and why are they all so similar? i think most players wanted additional content added to the base game instead
pretty disappointing post-launch overall imo. post-game insurgencies got old pretty quickly, same with lola’s special operations. black market items have been recycling for awhile. yea, im pretty salty. im glad they finally added new game + tho. i’ve been playing alot of that recently, tho im not sure if i’ll finish cuz i got some other games id like to play
