How does this work? How can you know you're riding 12 MPH? In normal units you usually can't see the speed so detailed, you just have 0, 20, 40, etc. (km/h) markers, and smaller graduation for 10s and maybe 5s.

The only place I've ever been where the speed limit has been anywhere near this low of number and strictly enforced is a military air force base. Otherwise, that number 12 means fuck all to any regular Joe.
