I don't have any videos on my YouTube channel digging amethyst down there(yet)...my bread & butter on my channel is Pennsylvania quartz/fossils, and Herkimer Diamond quartz... but "the crystal collector" has tons of them, just search him out on youtube...He actually dug this piece....This is from a machine dig at a private mine, his best amethyst dig ever...the other mines in the area are usually just dump piles that can be scavenged with a small shovel, flathead screwdriver and a good pair of eyes...basically catching what they missed on their machine digs. Diamond Hill Mine and Jacksons crossroads are two that are open to the public.
Do you have to be experienced and have tools or do they provide instructions, etc.?
