I'm fairly sure Herkimer diamonds only come from the Herkimer mine. Still super cool though! I've never found any quartz that clear.

Herkimer(and Montgomery) County....my property is directly across the river from HDM and Ace....you can hear them running their machines from it.

Sorry then! I just know a ton of shops sell any double terminated quartz as "Herkimer diamonds" to fetch a higher price.

My friends do guide people up there(it's hike-in only), i think the slots fill up quick though and may be filled for the year. Google Paradise Falls Herkimer Diamonds.

I think 10 is the youngest they'll take....I think. Funny I'm an owner and have no clue haha I live 4 hours away in PA till I build something up there.
