Codingbat.com and exercism.com are great sites for practicing
It's not such an issue now, since more recent releases of Python hint to you as to where to find syntax errors in your code, but at one time, you would get syntax errors, and of course, you're going to search the most current line for such possible errors, but they were RARELY on the current line. Something you'd NEVER realize if all you did was read books, and not sit down to actually code.
I learned everything from codecademy. Highly recommend
If you don't mind artificial voices have a look at this YT channel "python visually explained"
Tbh recommend ChatGpt to draw things with ASCII if needed. You can also have it generate interactive/animated tutorials for concepts/topics.
