Navy Blazer and high waisted trousers
Stupidly high waisted trousers, Navy Blazer and custom shift picked up from suit supply today
When I say stupidly high waisted trousers, I really mean just that. A lot of “high rise” pants aren’t really that high at all, not even getting close to the navel or actual natural waist. These pants come to well above my navel. I haven’t measured the front rise yet, but it’s significantly longer than even Kit Blake front rise. I have short legs and a long torso, so with the crease line, this visually elongates my legs and harmonizes my proportions. But it’s not for everyone, and if you don’t like or look good in that cut, don’t wear it. But I do think more men should at least try it.

This is a great example of dressing for your actual proportions instead of just what's trendy. Short legs and long torso is such a common combo and most guys never adjust their rise for it, they just default to mid rise because that's what's everywhere. The crease trick you mentioned is underrated too, a lot of people forget that a visible crease line does as much for the leg line as the rise itself. Curious how it holds up when you sit, some of these higher rises get uncomfortable at a desk.

They are indeed a bit tight on the natural waist when sitting down. Next time, I’m going to base that measurement on my seated waist width instead of standing. They will be looser but more comfy and can always use side tabs, belt or braces to keep them up.
