23rd of June in a yet-to-be-decided location...
Event page is invite only, due to trolling issues last time round that i can't really be bothered with again :P If you don't know anyone invited drop me a PM and I'll sort it out :)

There was issues for the last meet up, non facebook users kept out of the loop.

Facebook is, fortunately or unfortunately, by far the easiest way to organise an event with a bunch of people where you can get numbers and make sure they get updates when things change. If you can suggest any other way of keeping in touch with people I'd be more than willing to try it :)
I will make a special effort to make sure updates are also posted here, so people should keep an eye of this thread too...

Dodgy time of the month for anybody paid monthly. I'll be getting home from Crete a day or two before then and certainly won't have any money to go out.
Out of interest, do you think most people here work on Monday mornings? As far as I know, most people are students or employed part time (based on the initial greetings thread posted here ages ago and anecdotal evidence) Sunday nights are far cheaper for going out. Might be worth considering.

Yeah that's a good point... It's Q-Con weekend too so we're considering changing the date anyway, because I for one want to be at Q-Con. The 23rd was chosen just because it's the global meetup day apparently.

Im going to be staffing Qcon, so it'll be a no from me :( Unless the date gets changed!

Just spotted this comment, not sure if you're seen the date change? We've moved it to the Sunday night (24th) cause a bunch of us are either staffing or attending Q-Con ourselves :) These things usually go 'til the end of the night, 1am or so, so I'm planning on doing all the Q-Con staffer things and then popping round afterwards.

Realisation of a problem - it's Q-Con weekend :( Looking numbers on who'd want to move the date vs who wants to keep it the same?

I'm in Donegal until the day after. If the cabin isn't too out-of-the-way I could get a bus home on the Saturday but I have no idea where it is at the minute.
