I thought wiggo was quite adamant during the commonwealth games that road cycling was bullshit and he wanted to stick to track?
That said I'd have called him to move to Omega pharma quickstep first. I knew he wasn't staying till with sky after that whole tour fiasco.

The BBC blew his quote completely out of context, Wiggo said he was done riding grand tours and the BBC took that to mean all road cycling.

Exactly. He still wants to win Roubaix.

In that case he is likely to stay with team sky surely.

As far as I'm aware he's already signed a contract for next year or was about to...

he did mention a desire to win paris roubaix. Seeing as he finished 9th and the highest ranked tinkoff rider was 35th... maybe oleg supports his desire to be a classics specialist?
