Any recommendations for a digital piano for people with chronic hand pain?

My friend has neuropathy which affects their hands. They can't play a regularly tuned guitar anymore due to the pain. They can just about play a guitar tuned down a tone for a short while.

I've got EDS, and attempts to move my hands can frequently result in pain in my joints.

I'm wondering if anyone with similar issues has had any luck with particular digital pianos that feel good and don't hurt as much.

For reference, I'm currently using an Arturia Keylab 88 MkII and it's pretty terrible for my hands because the keys feel ridiculously heavy and spongy. I've tried a Nord Electro (not sure what model) and that felt better. I'm hoping to find something light that I can glide across, but have good dynamic control over. With some light keybeds, I've found it hurts when the key hits the bottom, but I don't know how that could be overcome without making the keys feel spongy, unless the spongy feeling is just due to them being too heavy.

Their budget is probably around £300 ($400) (I'll be looking on Facebook Marketplace etc), and mine is around £4000 ($5400).
