Alternate Michigan Subreddit

Is there another Michigan Subreddit, where people can actually post and talk about stuff, in a less moderated way - like in a more free and fair way?

No, not really. I believe this is the only alternative michigan subreddit and it's pretty dead. I have some plans to bring life to it this year once camping season starts. This subreddit is specifically anti-politics though so no discourse about that. I mean, pretty much everything else is free game though? But if it wouldn't be allowed in the michigan subreddit good chance it wouldn't be here either lol

I ask because I was muted today for asking about snow on the ground.
Then I was banned because I asked why I was muted.

The r/Michigan sub is very, VERY, biased in their moderation. So finding one that is more "free speech" is refreshing (we shall see).

Thats lame

All censcorship is lame.
And because I am muted/banned, I cant even ask why.
What an absolutel CF power trip some of these mods are on.
Cowards actually.
Oh well - I figured out how to live for many decades without reddit I can do probably still do it.

what did you post that got you muted?

Over_here_Observing [OP]

Good question.
I was asking about snow levels in people yards. Like did you have snow on the ground, and where do you live type stuff.

That got me muted.
Then I tried to ask why I got muted, and I got banned.

If you are a member of that group, you know that it is very Censor heavy. Post are removed, and down voted if you say anything that is different from the "leanings" of the moderators.
It boils down to some mod had an attitude and I got banned.

I guess that was an real example of what actual unchecked power looks like.

Yes, I’m sure that’s all you posted 🙄

Go look at my previous posts. You can do that I think.
And since I'm banned I cant delete them (I dont think)

For sure I had an unpopular opinion for the group (the sub is VERY left leaning and I often opposed the official narrative - like we do in a free soceity like the USA).
But I wasn't mean or nasty, didnt call people names, or threaten.

It doesnt matter. A mod didnt like what I said, somebody with a little bit of pretend power in a fantasy world, and used their power to shut me up. The actual definition of Fascism.
