Please help me make Rocket Arena 3 live again...
I'm trying to port RA3 to a standalone package with ioquake3. I've made some progress:
- I use the amazing high-res CC texture pack from kpax that's not encumbered by copyright.
- I have the original RA3 soundtrack, although RA3 has a built in MP3 payer
- And i have RA3 server and client running on windows with ioquake3
What I need: The developers for the project were:
Patrik 'ElQueffo' Persson
Torkel 'Kebb' Ödegaard
Daniel 'Dariddler' Johansson
If anybody knows these guys or how to contact them, please let me know! I can't make more progress without source.
The last update for RA3 was on 2004-04-01 for version 1.76. I've searched far and wide for RA3 source, but I've come up with nothing. I've tried to look up the developers of RA3, but I cannot find any of them. (I think I found a Swidish guy that may have been one of the developers, but I never got a response from him)
Update Edit: With the help of some of you folks here, I managed to get a response from Torkel Ödegaard. He doesn't have source, but the main developer Patrik Persson (he won't linkedIn friend me) apparently does. I found Patrik's employer, and I sent him an email using an email address that seems to follow his company's email address convention. It didn't bounce, so I think it was delivered.
If anybody knows someone who knows these people, please let me know or contact them directly. An unencumbered, multi-OS RA3 would be amazing.
