Patterns for frontend react

Hi I'm coming from backend learning how to use react with redux and I was wondering if there were some patterns to abstract the ui and data handling from the business logic in the frontend. Or is all that more oop centric stuff relegated to the backend?

I use to work with knockout and remembered having to create view models on the frontend to handle ui state and changing of the ui along with the state and some business logic. Is there a similar type of thing for react?
