Final bond mission for these two dips om midnight. The try right before this one, they literally 4 second ko-ed me. My mouth was still open up until mid way through this try. I actually forgot to have fun because of how tense this was. Are you happy now, Team Ninja? I did it. I did the mission. Respect to my boy Jigoro.

I'm really impressed with how you pulled this off, as that fight can be tense before Midnight.
I more or less figured out how to proceed with Midnight. I just didn't find it enjoyable and went back to playing Ghost of Tsushima, following up with another play-through of BG3.
I will come back if they add a real New Game. I'd like to take the character I built and try again. Sure, Testament of the Soul is almost exactly a New Game, except you don't start from the beginning and have to re-do everything while keeping your stats/equipment.
I'm impressed too, that's why I recorded it lol. Like, "did I really just...?" Fr though, I didn't even do the impressive stuff, like I almost failed this try at multiple points and I failed alot of countersparks. It sounds funny but the fact that they can end the fight so quickly made it easier to come back and try again. My pride was never hurt because I knew I was choosing to undertake this bs on purpose.
I must admit I set the difficulty to Dawn from Twilight only for this mission. Not only that, I purposely acquire the Bomb skills under Dex tree (I don't want to 100 every trees) just to spam explosives at these two before Jigoro joins.
I don't know how I will deal with them in Midnight.

Honestly, I don't know how I dealt with them either and I just did lol. You can see I was hanging on for dear life on more than one occasion. I'd say my priority was to forget about combos and damage, focus on countersparks and make it your priority to keep the both of them in view at all times. Team ninja has a sick sense of humor and on this lap, enemy ai isn't as aggressive but they will circle to your blind side intentionally.
