Russian tank design is shit. You hit it hard enough and the ammo within it gets set off. I was reading about this the other day.

The turrets always pop off because they store the ammo in there, with no blast shielding or blow off panels.

I saw that, I’ve also seen plenty of them get hit without an explosion that large.
