Am I misunderstanding Cloudflare email preferences?

I keep getting newsletters from Cloudflare, even tough I've clearly unsubscribed from all of them.

Am I misunderstanding the purpose of communication preferences or is CF marketing dept just spamming me? I've went and unchecked all of the categories a few months ago and this is third newsletter I got since then. I feel like applying some heavy object moving at high velocity to some skulls.

Who else experienced this and what did you do? "Just add a filter" while a reasonable workaround doesn't solve the root issue and shows that we're ok with receiving basically spam.

When did you unsubscribe? For whatever stupid reason the CAN-SPAM act gives senders 10 business days to comply with an unsubscribe request.

Also worth noting unsubscribe is tied to recipient address. If you get Cloudflare emails directly and to a group you'll need to unsub twice.

Contact email is a tagged group ([email protected]), which I unsubscribed months ago. Since then I've explicitly unsubscribed from a newsletter (clicked the Unsubscribe link at the bottom), again, over a month ago, and now I got this.

Is it possible that it needs to be checked, instead of unchecked? The descriptor says "can not" send emails then lists boxes. Or maybe that text updates based on what boxes are checked.

That would not make sense - it's checked by default
