Keyboard not working correctly
I want to apologize if this isn't the correct subreddit for this question. If so, I appreciate any recommendations for the best place to ask. Also, please forgive me if I use the wrong terminology, I'm not very tech savvy.
Last night, my wife accidentally dumped a large glass of soda on her desktop (Windows 7) keyboard and desk. Naturally, tons of paper towels were used to soak up the mess and minimize the damage. We did not unplug the keyboard from the computer while wiping it down. I know, rookie mistake :( She then turned off her computer and went to bed. This morning, the keyboard was not operating correctly. My wife switched out keyboards and changed USB ports, getting the same results. What she did determine after some investigation was:
- The S key toggles the Caps lock
- The A and Z keys are acting as the Tab key
- The Backspace key shows a keystroke
- The Backslash key is registering as something, but my wife is unsure what it is
- None of the other keys seem to work
The best we can determine is, while wiping down the keyboard, we hit a series of keys that reset the keyboard configuration. I have searched Google and YT for possible solutions with no luck - again, computer dunce here.
Any suggestions and/or ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance!

Use isopropyl alcohol clean out your keyboard let it dry might fix it no guarantees.
