Climbing gyms are super fishy. I worked in the industry for a decade and it is disgusting how poorly mismanaged they can be. Upon inspection I had found countless improper training techniques, extremely old ropes, worn out anchors, loose bolts, frayed harnesses and toxic work environments. I don’t ever blindly trust climbing gyms and only trust my own gear.
