I've had all kinds of driver issues when I've tried to switch in the past. That plus some programs not being on Linux, at least not without a bunch of effort. Tried to switch 3 or 4 times in the last 5 or 6 years but never stuck.

I am just so sick of microsoft and windows though, that last week I tried again and dual booted "Zorin OS" and I haven't opened windows yet at this point. My wireless mouse and keyboard, Wifi dongle, drawing pad and everything else just worked. Games are working, unreal engine is working. No doubt some pain points will come up, but nothing yet.

Obviously, I can't speak for your board but maybe worth looking at if you try to switch again.
