I'm confused by your post. The easiest way to accomplish what I THINK you're trying to do is to create groups in AD/Entra and tie them to user roles. Then tie the role to the license you're wanting to deploy. I'm almost certain they talk about licensing in the guides, I know it was there in the old guides.

I see Jellyfin mentioned a lot. Is there a reason people don't consider Emby? I have a lifetime pass for that but haven't used it in at least 5-6 years. Last I remember, it had the closest amount of apps, features, and compatibility.
