Yea they just unscrew from the bottom. Super easy

Omega will not share the actual date that the watch was manufactured. But the date on the card/purchase date is the date the warranty begins.

dparrish209

That’s awesome to hear! I’ve read plenty of people having the low amplitude issue on the new movement after a few years so it’s great to hear others having them perform as expected

dparrish209

Killer photo! Out of curiosity, how has timekeeping been over that time? Has your watch suffered the slow time keeping issue/needed a warranty service?

dparrish209

New case is fully polished now like the shades editions. No more brushed sides

dparrish209

definitely a step up; I also had the opportunity to handle the older version. Its screw links rather than pins, and tighter tolerances, nicer finishing.

dparrish209

Come get it while it's available! Recently released and already sold out, Helson has put out a small batch of their extremely sought after Sharkmaster 300 models, with new updated specs. This Sharkmaster 300 date (black dial) keeps the original case dimensions of what we love (come on Omega!), and adds to it a new tapering flat link bracelet (20 x 16), an on the fly ratcheting clasp, and is now powered by the Miyota 9 series movement.

This watch is brand new and unworn, still in its plastic. Get it before its gone!

Price is $650 + shipping to any USA address.

Looks like new bracelet and they moved away from the brushed and polished case to the fully polished case from the shades collection

Very nice, but consider a change to the text at 6 o clock. This is not a dive watch, so including the water resistance is not necessary. Something like "High Accuracy Quartz" or "Precision Quartz" or other.

As someone else said, unless the half link is exactly half the size of a full link, including 2 half links is usually needed to ensure everyone can get a good fit.

dparrish209

Don’t worry, couldn’t have been worse than my Broncos utter inability to put a functional offense in the field!

Real NY pizza ovens are like 650F and a Neapolitan oven is cooks at like 800

dparrish209

Yup

dparrish209

Yep, I preheat my oven for at least an hour. I think this time it was probably closer to 75 minutes from oven on to launching my pizza since I got side tracked around the house.

I use King Arthur bread flour and a 3 day ferment. Pretty generic recipe and process!

dparrish209

I think it depends on if you’re considering just the lugs, or L2L including the fixed endlinks

dparrish209

This came out a few years ago

dparrish209

Nice! How’s the watch kept up in that time in terms of timekeeping? Any issues?

dparrish209

Yea, perfectly. The Ginault watch is basically a 1:1 of the 16610 mid case so the endlinks are identical. The Ginault bracelet fits the 16610, 16570, and 16710 cases. I’ve had it on all 3 at one point.

dparrish209

I preferred the full original look. The non OEM clasp bothered me. Mixing the Ginault bracelet + OEM Rolex clasp was the best of both worlds for me. Since the 5-digit Rolex’s are lighter, I found that I didn’t need the adjustments like I do on my much heavier 126610

dparrish209

The Ginault bracelet fits both the 16610 and 16570 perfectly. I previously owned a 16610 and put the Ginault bracelet on it because I wanted a fully solid link bracelet, but kept the original stamped clasp. This also solves the issue of not enough removal links on the 6 o clock side since the Ginault has only 3, vs 16610/16570 having effectively 5 fixed links (4 on bracelet + 1 on clasp).

I was very impressed with the fit and finish of the Ginault bracelet fits both

dparrish209

This looks fine. Running slow is an issue more than fast. Also, Superlative Chronometer spec is the average of all positions, not one singular position. So it may be greater then +2 or less then -2 in any given position, but the average if in spec falls between the -2 to +2

dparrish209

I wouldn’t touch a watch with a lost/stolen S/N, period. Buy one that doesn’t come with that baggage.

dparrish209

Sorry don’t remember

dparrish209

In my opinion, I would never buy a modern Rolex without papers. The 124060 has only been in production for like 6 years, so it’s strange to not have them as others have said. Not just for resale but peace of mind of getting a solid, well taken care of watch. No to mention you will have no idea what year it was made, meaning no idea on warranty. Spend the extra bit of money for one with a full set
