Echo
Heh, that's actually very clever. Nice find!
Echo
This is awful.
But I want one.
Echo
For feck sake - you could warn people that you're linking to a picture of roadkill! Or at least have the album open up on a different photo!
Echo
Oh no. We don't have to start calling ourselves "nontheists" now, do we? I quite liked "Atheist"...
I know the word makes some people uncomfortable, but it's nothing to be ashamed of. It's perfectly natural.
Echo
Downmodded because all the other kids are doing it!
Echo
I doubt it, given the company's track record.
(yes, that refers to both the first and second part of your post! But mostly the first part. )
Echo
That's an excellent point.
I was kidding earlier - as for "When you start off by telling those who disagree with you that they are not merely in error but insane, how much of a dialogue do you expect?", robhutten, you're right, but you're acting like this is a huge problem, as if Christians can't turn a corner without somebody ridiculing their ridiculous beliefs.
Christianity is a mob mentality. Sometimes it takes more than a sensitive and thoroughly researched reply to break that kind of hold - in my case, I didn't even start to question my faith until it was suggested to me that it might all be bullshit. Good thing too, or I'd be a priest now.
Echo
I think I can help here.
Any one who believes in a Christian God, or any other God, is mentally insane.
Echo
Betcha didn't look that cool while saying it though, right?
Echo
This is maybe the nerdiest, most pedantic comment I have ever read on Reddit.
Echo
Great, another bloody American telling me what to do.
(joking :))
Echo
This question seems to be phrased in such a way that it appears to be about the war in Iraq, and Americans actions in it. In that case, the results are pretty understandable.
i.e. You Americans are crazy.
Echo
Ugh. That's it, I give up submitting things. You people have no taste.
Echo
Hehe. Actually, I thought of that, but I figured it wouldn't go down too well. So I decided not to do it.
Echo
Spooky. I tried to sumbit this a few days ago, but Reddit wouldn't let me.
Echo
All of them! In particular, Clean Asia is fantastic.
I guess Reddit just isn't a gaming community...
Echo
They don't suck. You suck.
Echo
I don't know how anything manages to make it the front page. I've submitted all sorts of great things, and they've all fallen into obscurity. Maybe it's a time zone thing... Are you GMT?
(That could be a good experiment - if someone came up with 24 equally interesting articles, (and I know that's a hard thing to quantify), then they could sumbit them at 1 hour intervals and see how each one does.)
Echo
My thoughts exactly. I found xkcd here a couple of months ago. Even then, people were complaining about it showing up so often.
If reddit had tags, then I guess a xkcd tag would be a good idea - that way people could choose to exclude it if they really wanted to.
[edit : well, actually, when I say my thoughts exactly, I'm referring to your first sentence. I don't really give a toss about Digg one way or the other.]
Echo
Well, then use Google Reader. http://reader.google.com

I had a lot of fun with this! First I went to http://bethebot.indyanow.com/ in that webpage. Then, in the new site that came up I went to http://bethebot.indyanow.com/. Then I got bored and did something else.
Great site!
Oh, that's it. That little sentence tells me all I need to know about your "post".
Downmodded, you fucking wanker.
