No. You only have one data partition, and once you boot 17.1 that will be upgraded to 17.1. You can't downgrade to 16.0 after that without factory resetting.

The script that removes old builds runs on a weekly basis (I think). So yes, it won't always be exactly four but it will regularly get reduced to four.

If your phone booted, don't worry about it ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Today's nightlies were broken and would possibly bootloop, so all affected were pulled. If recent builds disappear for no obvious reason, this is why. Normally we keep the last four builds for each device, and so any builds that are beyond that limit or older than 60 days are deleted.

Try downloading again (from download.lineageos.org)? I don't see that URL in mirrorbits, so it shouldn't be sending you there at all.

We have an API that includes the build date for each build here: https://download.lineageos.org/api/v1/<device>/nightly/<letters> (for example: https://download.lineageos.org/api/v1/i9300/nightly/abc). The datetime field is a unix timestamp, and it's not completely accurate, but it's within about 2 hours of the actual sync time for each build.

If you're feeling particularly motivated, though, it might be possible to add the patch level to the updater API: you'd need to update the mirrorbits API, which already parses the zips to read the build.prop and get the build time, and then add the patch level to the updater itself.

Install newer firmware. You should check the LineageOS XDA thread for more instructions on how.

You need to be running a nougat firmware for LineageOS on the A5. Oreo firmware isn't supported.

If you're curious, this is where your traffic is probably going if you're downloading from AU. There's not really much we can do here (unless you happen to know an organisation with lots of bandwidth and storage who would like to mirror LineageOS in Asia/Oceania!)

If you already have TWRP installed, you don't need to worry about those steps. However, you should make sure that the TWRP you have installed is the latest one available for your device.

There's an hour or two lag between the build finishing and the build showing up on download.lineageos.org, to allow the build to upload to all the mirrors. Just be patient.
