Pretty mild compared to anti AI rhetoric imo
Glugamesh
AI. What building is that? Reflections are wrong.
Glugamesh
Not on the initial try but some people are just brutal and fatigue sets in eventually. I usually spot those kinds of people by looking at their hex sets where they're twisted like candy canes.
Glugamesh
I'm here for it though
Glugamesh
I'd check the machine that this came from, see if it's not wonky. That is if it didn't break from over tightening.

I think that we expect our species' progeny to think like us. to have hopes and dreams like us and to have an internal experience the way we do. There's actually no reason for something that supersedes us to have any of those things.
We'd like them to carry on our sapience in functionally immortal robot bodies or even carry our personalities and experience in them but I doubt that's going to happen. They may even have a kind of subjective experience for which we have no vocabulary.
We may live alongside them. They may keep us as pets without us knowing. They may eventually consider the human form too limiting.
Glugamesh
What is it with selling medium value foodstuffs as body horror that appeals to these slop guys?
Glugamesh
In TYOOL 2026, that's a skill issue. A year ago, I would've nodded my head in mild approval.
Glugamesh
Both pro-AI and anti-AI claim that the reddit is stacked against them so it's probably pretty good.
Glugamesh
Good. I like AI but shiity applications of it need to be weeded out.
Glugamesh
That's an assertion. On an interesting note I was reading about the advent of the synthesizer back in the 60's and 70's. Musicians tried to get it banned and many artists, including Queen, would tout their non-use of the synthesize with phrases like "...and nobody played synthesizer... again" on their album covers. Until 1980... they started using synths. Many people said much the same things as they do about AI art as they did the synth.
AI art isn't going to erase other forms of art. It will just augment it.

Sometimes, if your can opener is dull, especially those side cutting ones, it will start to make shavings along the rim. That's why I use the older school top cutting ones where it tears the material differently.
Glugamesh
Looks like he understands perfectly imo.
Glugamesh
All of them will occur unevenly in pockets.
Glugamesh
Yeah, it's AI. It's got that weird 'describe everything' voice and I can't see how something like this would be possible with the way it moves/doesn't move.
Glugamesh
What a beautiful orange cat. Never seen one with such lovely eyes. What a gift it must've been to be there.
Glugamesh
The scene is consistent with Todaro Pizza at 105 Sloan St. Clemson, SC 29631. Like it's possible that they used it as a reference but I've seen fights and there's nothing that tells me that this is fake. When people fall unconscious, they can bend in all kinds of weird ways.

Trump's been taking to grok and Elon has been reading what Trump is talking about with grok. Hence why he's all in on this SI thing, is probably very important to Trump.
Glugamesh
It actually is though. Very common. It's just that people are cajoled into not taking about it.
Glugamesh
Anyone else sick of the fucking thumbnails where trump is either scared, angry or flipping a desk or whatever? Then to watch the video, Trump raised his eyebrows a bit and talked near a plane engine?
I block channels that do that now.
Glugamesh
An old grandpa bathroom OP?
Glugamesh
Glumlot made some long form stuff. Gossip Goblin routinely makes a bunch of cool shit. I don't know about anime though.
You have an outdated view of how AI media is made.
Glugamesh
So... you just found ComfyUI and decided to post your first thirstGen here?
Glugamesh
I don't think LLM's are sentient, nor do they think. In fact, I don't think that any machine we create from here on in will be sapient the way we are.
That said, we are probably on the way to creating our own species progeny. The step of ourselves that can leave here and carry on some (hopefully) of the values we hold dear. They will probably think in terms roughly analogous to what we consider thinking and experience the universe in a way befitting the abstraction layer of a highly connected bunch of highly engineered matter similar to the way we do.
I don't think humans are the end. Nor do I think humans are outmoded. We're somewhere along a long road that nobody can see the end of.
Ummm. Ok.
