I try my best to turn on lane assistance immediately because I really like it. Then every time I forget, and I noticed the car drifting or something, and I have to turn it on while I’m on the freeway, I hate the car a little bit more. Why the fuck can’t it just be on by default? Or why can’t you change it to be automatically on or off depending on your preference? That stupid fucking engine stop start at red lights is on automatically, and can’t be changed. Luckily there’s a little device you can buy to plug in that permanently disables it.

That is the point, go play chess. Unless you have Parkinson's or cerebral palsy there's no reason to prefer turn based combat. There is no place for taking turns in a fighting game, that's not how fights work. Do you just have zero hand eye coordination? Are you slow in the head and need 30 seconds to decide on your next move? Combat happens in real-time, your opponent does not politely wait for you to take your turn. it's a silly mechanic only favored by people with poor reflexes. I understand the popularity of certain games that tell an incredible story, like the Baldur's Gate series (which is based on D&D, a tabletop game which can justify turn-based combat), or Clair Obscure. But I couldn't even play the latter because I can't tolerate turn based combat outside of special circumstances. It just feels so lame.
