Every year there's always some rumor about him coming back to potentially fix up the two existing mods, but as you said, it's been years. I'm not holding my breath. Unless someone decides to take over the mods, this is all we're getting.

I'm using the windhelm one as I do like how it expands the dock to the other side of the exterior city. I also paired it with jk windhelm outskirts and one of the bridge overhauls. Compared to solitude and whiterun, windhelm has always felt a little bare bones, both aesthetically and mod wise. This combination brings it up just enough for me.

I do like what capital whiterun brings to the table but it's not really necessary because there's no end of mods for the city. I'm more than satisfied with mods that simply add trees, grass, a few tidbits here and there, and a bit more people. It feels big enough. Still debating on adding something to the outskirts. Jks isn't compatible with another mod I'm using so I'll try ryns whiterun city limits.

These are striking pictures, but I generally keep a few interior mods just so things don't look so samey and underwhelming. It always bothered me that skyrims merchant capital had an inn with two rooms lol or that skyrims richest families lived in a slightly upgraded hovel.

I liked uthgerds breasted breast plate in Skyrim, sue me, and the whole fantasy chain mail bikini aesthetic in general, but in reality women didn't go running around fighting in that sort of armor. Joan of Arc s armor was pretty standard fare in shape, supposedly , though obviously fitted for her measurements so there was some more space in the chest, but that was it. She may not have been fighting head on, but that armor was taking hits since the enemy was trying. Seemed to have served her well enough.

Ellison was a bit of a jerk from what I've heard, but damn, that story of his, "I have no mouth and I just scream" is more understandable to me these days than it was all those years ago when I first read it.

I've always liked the racial size variation mods that make orcs taller and bulkier. It also makes altmer way too tall lol, looking like kiwi giraffes. Diverse racial skeleton or something like that.

Isn't requiem THE difficulty mod? And it's le too, where it was first developed. You could also add a mod that reduces the amount of exp earned on top of that.

Try going without a dedicated lighting mod and instead use CS or a CS fork like bottles or ENB preset. They might do the job on their own.

Suddenly had bsod on my usually rock steady build. One of my four sticks of 3600 cl16 ram had finally given out. Rest easy. G.skill has a lifetime warranty apparently so I guess I'll give it a try.

I can't say I've ever had a problem with ddr4, paired with a 5800x3 in terms of performance for my use case. But it did give me a fright. I never had a stick give out like that.

JaySerpas mods tend to do just that. He expands existing quests to have different routes and outcomes. For example. He has a mod that makes enemies get out of the way if you aim an arrow at them. Just check out his stuff.

Simon magus is regarded as the vanilla plus guy. His mods arent strictly vanilla, they expand on things., introduce new mechanics etc, he does change things up a lot. But they're vanilla in vibe.

And finally, a visual facelift. If you pair up bottles shaders with the nat 11 mod, it's quite a look.

Just yesterday I finished isolating a problem on my PC to a defective stick of RAM. Got a lifetime warranty on it but it just makes me understand all the more that these things can just stop working noatter how well you take care of it
