it’s possible the person who made your drink put the matcha powder in first, the. the syrup, then the hot water prior to mixing it in the iced capp mixer.
i believe ur supposed to put the cane sugar or vanilla syrup in first, then hot water from the tea latte button on the espresso machine, THEN the powdered matcha… maybe that would yield better results? i don’t know. i make the matcha drinks that way (which is the way it should be made iirc) and i haven’t seen dry powder at the bottom.
my coworkers said it tasted good, not as good as some shit from uji, but for western standards it fits the bill.

cuz i like their stuff and unless its something catastrophically stupid, i don’t care about a small error in my shit lol. i treat the employees kindly and sometimes they sneak in a few extra timbits for exampe

sometimes it’s just you and one person on sandwich station that also is the baker and is baking shit while prepping mobile orders, storefront AND uber orders.
between juggling different orders and remembering what you’re makin and keeping things as fast and as efficient as we can, mistakes are bound to happen.
mistakes also happen when it’s not busy and there’s many people working. that may come down to inadequate training and QA.
although, there’s been many more times in my experience where a customer orders one thing, i input it exactly as it is, i REPEAT the order back to them, they acknowledge it, then when they receive the exact thing they asked for, they say it’s wrong.
these folks are usually otp or wearing earbuds or straight up aloof.
very location dependent. unfortunately, certain demographics are more likely to make mistakes than others, especially if there is a language barrier.

holy fuck you have to be genuinely so fucking ass at the game to continuously say this on every clip

this is a tim hortons subreddit, so i’ll post what i want thanks. in the sea of hate i want to spread a little bit of joy to those who aren’t stuck in an echo chamber. not all tim’s are tfw abusing pieces of shit. i literally worked at two locations that didn’t take advantage of that. and guess what? half of the employees at the first location were white.
if you don’t want to see “garbage” like this, i implore you to leave the subreddit to prevent yourself from being disgusted. happy new years :)

ours is independently owned and the managers give a shit about us, hold us to a high standard all the time. we try to rectify any issues always and we aren’t going out of our way to just hire tfw’s either—we are looking for local talent.
randomuser445
you have issues
randomuser445
the tim’s i’ve worked at in toronto (both locations) have been splendid, lots of foot traffic, many compliments and hardly any complaints. reviews also are doing well and they’re not paid. i have no idea if the demographic matters but if it helps its in a white area

and ykw OP should go downtown toronto n see how crazy some areas are
some fast food chains are ran primarily by filipinos, some have many indian employees, some have many chinese employees, some have a mix of everything (like my tim’s is in toronto n we have koreans, filipinos, indians, mexicans, white, black)
