In a competitive market like LA, breaking in takes consistent outreach and something that makes you stand out immediately.
My approach is a combination of in-person drops at brokerages, targeted emails, and being active in the right online communities. For larger cities I focus on luxury and independent offices in areas like Beverly Hills, Brentwood, Culver City, etc. I bring a clean one-sheet with strong photos, before/afters, and a QR code to a sample video tour.
My quick pitch is usually:
“Hey, I’m a local photographer specializing in photos plus cinematic video tours that help listings perform better online. I’d love to shoot one of your listings at a discounted first-shoot rate so you can see the quality and fast turnaround.”
What really helps close agents: Offering video. Most photographers only do stills. I shoot regular photos on site, upload the set to Tour Estate AI, and it creates smooth cinematic video tours and vertical Reels with natural camera movement, music, and text overlays in about 5 minutes. Agents in high-value areas love it because it makes properties feel more premium and emotional.
Also get active in the right communities:
Local real estate Facebook groups
Active Discord servers for LA real estate pros and photographers
Slack channels (there are several good ones for LA agents, photographers, and marketing)
Being visible and helpful in those spaces has brought me several long-term clients.
Once you land the first job, over-deliver with extra Reels and follow up. Relationships build from there. It takes time in LA but consistency pays off.
Happy to share specific Discord/Slack recommendations, my brochure text, or sample video links if you want. You got this!

Two months in is still very early so do not get discouraged. The first few jobs from friends is a good start. In Australia it can take consistent effort to build momentum especially with the smaller independent agencies.
Cold approaching does work but you have to be smart about it. Drop nice brochures or one-sheets at brokerages, follow up with a friendly email, and offer a discounted first shoot to prove your value. Many independents are open to trying someone new if you make it easy for them.
Also get active in the online communities. There are several good Australian real estate Facebook groups, Discord servers, and Slack channels where agents hang out and look for photographers. Being visible there with your work and offering helpful tips can bring in steady leads.
One of the fastest ways to stand out and win more jobs is offering photo plus video packages. Most photographers only do stills. I shoot my regular photos on site, upload the set to Tour Estate AI, and it creates smooth cinematic video tours and vertical Reels with natural camera movement, music, and text overlays in about 5 minutes. Agents love it because their listings perform better on Domain and social media.
This has helped me get repeat clients and referrals quickly.
Happy to share some specific Facebook groups, Discord servers, or Slack channels that are active in Australia, or send you examples of the videos I create with Tour Estate AI. Just let me know what would help most. Keep at it and the work will pick up. Good luck!

Practical experience will beat most courses, especially at Engel & Völkers. But if you want to level up fast, focus on courses that teach short-form video + content systems because that's what's actually moving the needle right now.
A few solid ones I've seen recommended:
Social Media Marketing by Northwestern (Coursera)
Google Digital Marketing & E-commerce Certificate (free)
Anything by Anik Singal or the real estate specific ones on Udemy (just make sure they're recent)
The real game-changer though isn't theory, it's tools you can actually use.
I use Tour Estate AI every week. You upload regular property photos and it instantly turns them into cinematic video tours with camera movement, music, text overlays, and voiceover — all in about 5 minutes. No filming or editing needed.
For an intern or new marketer, this is gold because you can:
Create professional Reels and ads super fast
Bulk produce content for multiple listings
Test different video styles and see what converts
It’s one of the most practical tools out there for real estate social media and lead gen right now. Way more useful than another generic strategy course. Also spend time just experimenting: make content, run small Meta ads, track what works. Hands-on beats courses every time.
Good luck with the internship!

Yep. The only real winner from the escorts bubble was the players.

So my code would look something lie this instead?
const { client_secret } = await stripe.paymentIntents.create({ amount: 10000 * conversion, currency: 'gbp', payment_method_types: ["card"], });
const charges = await stripe.charges.list({ payment_intent: paymentIntentId, });
const charge = charges.data[0];
await stripe.transfers.create({ amount: 4000 * conversion, currency: 'gbp', destination: "example1", source_transaction: charge.id, });
await stripe.transfers.create({ amount: 4000 * conversion, currency: 'gbp', destination: "example2", source_transaction: charge.id, });

Find it?
Yeah the stiff camera movement is common in Enscape.
A quicker alternative is to upload your renders or photos to Tour Estate AI. It can generate smooth cinematic video walkthroughs with natural camera movement in about 10 minutes. Much faster than baking long animations in Enscape.
Good luck with the project!
